This catalog accompanies the first exhibition at the McCormick Gallery of works from the estate of John Little. Cascading Forms traces his career over three vital decades. Little was a New York painter and first generation Abstract Expressionist. A student of Hans Hofmann and close friend of Jackson Pollock, Little moved in 1951 to East Hampton where he worked as a central figure in the evolving development of American abstract art.
